Credits Explained

One of the many unique things about Campaign Refinery is the credit system.

Credits are a way of allowing our customers to send email and clean their list in a way that best suits them based on their specific habits.

Unlike some other email platforms, we don't overcharge you for having a big list that you barely use.

If you are using your account more and getting more value, then you consume more credits and are ultimately charged more than customers who do and send less.

No more paying for dead weight like you do with those other platforms.

By automatically and regularly cleaning your subscribed contacts to make sure they are still valid and safe before you ever hit send, you're always ready to go with a safe, clean list.

Of course, we give you some control here, too.

The re-clean schedule can be adjusted anywhere from every 30 to 180 days, but the default is to re-clean contacts every 90 days from any specific contacts last clean date.

Here's the pricing information you need to know to understand our pricing and credit system.

  • 1 Send = 1 Credit
  • 1 Clean = 5 Credits
  • "Included" Credits are use it or lose it
  • Bulk credit purchases don't expire*
  • CPM = cost per 1,000 credits
  • Any overages accrued are settle once per day
  • Re-cleans happen every 180 days or less (Every 90 days by default)

The account must remain in good standing. Cancellations or violation of our Acceptable Use Policy will forfeit bulk credit purchases.
