Step-by-Step Guide to Automation Rules

Automation rules are powerful tools that simplify tasks by automating repetitive actions.

By defining specific conditions and corresponding actions, these rules enable efficient workflows, saving time and effort

  • Automation rules follow this logic to perform actions based on triggers.  Your Campaign Refinery account will execute an action when a trigger is detected. This helps streamline your workflow by automating specific tasks.

Let's get started!

Go to Campaigns>All My Campaigns. Select the campaign you would like to work on.

Click on the Automations Tab to create or edit automation rules.

To Edit an existing automation rules, check the automation rule you would like to configure from the list that will appear on the 'Automations' tab

Click the preferred action under the MANAGE header—'Edit' to configure the rule, or 'Delete'.

Edit allows you to configure the items under the trigger and the task or action set on the rule.

Save your automation after configuration.

To Create a New Automation, click on '+Automation Rule' at the upper right side of your screen

If no automation has been set yet, you will also see this icon and can click on it to create your automation.

You will then define the rule by choosing the trigger condition, and the actions that will be launched once the condition is met.

Click Continue

You can then select the Form that the trigger was intended for

Next, for the action, choose the tag that you want the system to assign to the contact who has fulfilled the trigger condition.

Switch the automation rule on/off and save,

Upon saving the automation rule, you will be directed to the Automations tab, where your new automation rule will be added to the list of existing rules. You can then proceed with your workflow.
