Setting Up DNS record in cPanel via Hostinger
Campaign Refinery is a powerful platform for email marketing that makes it easy for businesses to create, launch, and track email campaigns.
Setting up the Domain Name System (DNS) records correctly is crucial if you want your email campaigns to work. Adding DNS records to cPanel for Campaign Refinery is a simple process that only takes a few steps to finish.
In this guide, we'll look at how to add DNS records to cPanel for Campaign Refinery, including how to find the records you need and add the records you need. Doing these things ensures that your email campaigns reach the people you want them to and get the best results possible.

Log in to your cPanel account or hosting like Hostinger.
📝 cPanel interface may be different if you made the account directly from cPanel and their affiliated hosting site. For information on the setup, please get in touch with the support of cPanel or the affiliated-host site.
Look for the domain you've added to Campaign Refinery in the cPanel dashboard.
Then, click the Manage button.
Look for and click the DNS / Nameservers tab.
Scroll down and go to the DNS records section.
Then, go to your Campaign Refinery account and then to the Settings section.
Click the drop-down arrow and go to the DNS Settings area.
It will show the DNS Settings, where you can find the values for the DNS Records.
Before adding the DNS records, please ensure you are in the correct domain you want to add to your cPanel account.
- Click the drop-down and choose the correct domain.
Once the right domain is chosen, it will show the values you must add to the #4 step above.
The values you must add to the #4 step above should be visible, like the image below. You need the values under each category.
Go back to cPanel and add the values to each field. The values go like the images below. Note: Click the Copy button to copy from the Value to the 'Points to' section.
Also, we recommend the TLL to be 1 hour equal to 3600 seconds.
An example is the image below:
When you copy the Value of the Name from the Record Name in the DNS Setup, remove from the 2nd period (.) to the domain name.
Example:
After adding all the values, click the Add Record button.
10. This record will now be added to your DNS Records in your cPanel account.
Once you've added all the values from the DNS Setup to your cPanel account, return to the DNS Setup in your Campaign Refinery account and click the 'Verify' button.
If errors are present, like the one in the image below:
Either:
1 - Edit the entries with errors on cPanel. Or
2 - Delete and re-add those entries.
Repeat either suggestion a few times. If errors still appear, pause but do not close the window and wait for a few minutes to an hour, then hit 'Verify' again.
The DNS Setup page will show as 'Verified' when all errors are fixed.
